FLORIDA TABLE "Another of Ed's famous tables, the State of Florida Table was carved in the exact shape and proportion of the State. The 20-foot long table is surrounded by 10 chairs. Carved into the southeast corner is a water-filled basin built to represent Lake Okeechobee. Ed said it could be used as a fingerbowl, bird bath or punch bowl. He envisioned the chair at the head of the table to be for the Governor of Florida and imagined that he and all of the senators and representatives would sit around the table making plans to raise taxes.
