ENTRANCE GATE,
BELL & ED'S INSURANCE POLICY SIGN (OBSCURED) "Ed was a very private person. The gate to the Castle was kept locked at all times. Notice the sign on the gate says, 'Ring Bell'. The sign on the wall says, 'Ring Twice'. Ed meant exactly what he wrote. If you rang the bell twice, and Ed was not busy, he would unlock the gate, and take you on a tour of the Castle. He would charge twenty-five cents. Ed did not have another job; he devoted his life to building the Castle. If you rang the bell once, or more than twice, or if Ed was busy, he would not unlock the gate. The sign says, 'Notice be careful. Anything you do on these premises is at your own risk.' He said he didn't need fire insurance; he had nothing that would burn." ...CORAL CASTLE TOUR GUIDE
